Emily Power is a Canadian singer/songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario. Growing up in a musical family, Emily developed her love for music early, studying classical piano and joining the award-winning Hamilton Children’s Choir in 2009. Inspired by artists like Adele, Elton John, and Kelly Clarkson, she pursued her passion and earned an Honours Degree in Music from the University of Western Ontario in 2014.
Her classical training built a foundation for her dynamic vocals, which resonate across genres. After university, she performed in Calgary, Alberta, leading bands in Classic Country and Alternative Rock, and later returned to Toronto, where she sang with a Top 40 band and a Pop ensemble across Ontario. Now based in Collingwood, she performs regularly at venues like the Shangri La Hotel and Blue Mountain Village, as well as in U.S. hotspots, including Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
Emily was awarded Best New Songwriter at the International Songwriters Day Championship last year. Her latest release, She Rises, is an empowering anthem celebrating resilience and strength, available on all streaming platforms.
