Canoo Partnership Announcement

Providing barrier-free access to TCO’s concerts for newcomers.

TCO is delighted to have partnered with Canoo, inviting new Permanent Residents and Citizens to come experience TCO concerts! Canoo is built and managed by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, a national charity celebrating newcomers and promoting active citizenship. This partnership is especially meaningful to TCO, as Artistic Director Sharon Lee is a first generation Woman of Colour Canadian.

Stay tuned for the full announcement!

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto

TCO was delighted to invite several pairs of Big/Littles from Big Brother Big Sisters of Toronto to many of our concerts. Here is a young girl who attended our opening concert of the 2023 season who came up to say hello during our concert!

Axis Music | Musical Experiences at Schools

Beginning 2024, Toronto Concert Orchestra partners with Axis Music to provide educational workshops to children in the comfort and safety of their school.

Axis Music aims to promote equal access to music education, collaboration and performance. We envision a world where all young people have equal access to the arts. We encourage personal excellence, and believe participants can develop their potential when provided access to resources, held to high standards, and supported by professional artists and an engaged community.

TCO 2023 Summer Toronto symphony concert

Blue Mountain Village

Twice each summer since 2021, TCO has been performing on the floating stage at Blue Mountain Village. These concerts, generously organized by the BMVA, are available to the public completely for free, amplified and played live throughout Blue Mountain Village. These concerts enable the TCO to provide quality live music to thousands of listeners in the area.
